A San Francisco retailer came to me to re-work their shopping bags after a city imposed fee was levied on all bags used for retail purchases. The idea was to add value to the once free bag as well as reinforce the brand image as a unique, only in San Francisco children’s store.
The Fiddlesticks bird was something I created in the original store branding. In the redesign, I took the bird out on an adventure in the city and placed him in high profile locations and even brought in a few friends. The result is a bag that can double as a terrific branded gift bag as well as souvenir transport for city visitors.
It has been well received by the client as well as customers and the brand shift is now being extended to other marketing material.
